Steel Frames & Trusses is a Sydney-based LGS/structural steel design and construction company working on projects covering residential to tier 1 commercial constructions. Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking multiple roles including Light Gauge Steel Drafters to join our dedicated and successful design team.
Number of Vacancies: 3
Your responsibilities will include:
Compliance assessments and evaluating regulatory information;
Structural concept design and loading analysis;
Using CAD to prepare steel drawings;
Liaising with customers for professional consultation;
Leasing with our construction teams for site instructions;
What’s required:
You are currently in Australian and with full time working permit;
Related engineering academic background;
Previous experience in drafting using CAD;
Abilities to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Excellent communication skills;
Basic Excel and Word skills;
Ability to work within a team environment;
Experiences as plus but not necessary:
Previous experience of FrameCAD software;
Advanced Microsoft Office skill;
Construction site experiences;
